2026 Concord Swim Club Breakers Swim Team

We are so excited for our upcoming 2026 season! Head Coach Hugh Vogt has been leading our summer league for 3+ years. Not only can he be found at our pool all summer, but he is also a successful coach with Sailfish Aquatics and for the Varsity Swim Team at Concord High School. Our assistant coaches have grown up at Concord Swim Club and hold this team and pool near and dear to their hearts. They come from Varsity level H.S. and Collegiate level swim teams and love competing as a CSC swimmer themselves until they age out of the league.

You must be a current member of CSC in order to join our team.* We take children ages 4 and up. Children, age 3.5 and older, who cannot swim or need to begin stroke instruction will start as Shrimpers. Once they are able to make it across the pool unassisted, they will move up to their age group in the swim team practices.

*(Starting this year, we will be taking non-member swimmer applications starting after April 10th. $300 per swimmer, no sibling discount)

In-water early evening practices start May 11th-May 22nd. We switch to morning practices Monday-Friday starting May 25th.

Our Red and Black intersquad morning meet is Saturday, May 30th. At this meet, everyone will swim all the events they are able to in order to establish seed times and relays.

Our regular season swim meets are once a week on Tuesday evenings starting June 2nd- July 3rd. The Southern Piedmont Swim Conference summer swim season ends with a conference championship at Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center on July 10-11th. In order to compete in the conference, meet each swimmer must compete in at least three meets. There are 6 meets in total before conference.

Registration includes a CSC Swim Team shirt for each swimmer, instruction M-F from May 11-July 10 & 11, as well as coaching at meets. There is no cost for meets. There is an admission fee at conference to help pay for the facility.

Cost is $90/swimmer. Swimmers 15 and up are $50. There is a $10 sibling discount; this discount does not apply to swimmers over 15 and up.

Reddiset will be at the pool on April 18 from 10:00am-12:00pm for an in-person suit fitting. Reddiset will deliver to your house! You can check out our team store for all the gear, including adult team shirts. Order online and they ship to you! You do not have to buy our official team suit; however, you must wear a red or black suit to compete at meets.

Our female team suit is the TYR Hexa Black/Red (Diamondfit & Trinity). The Speedo Endurance+ Flyback Black/Red suit is also available. Girls must wear a one-piece competition suit (no tie-backs). Our male suit is the Speedo Endurasoft Solid Black. Boys must wear a jammer or a brief. Tech suits are not permitted.

All swim meet decisions are made by our coaches, no exceptions. Changes cannot be made at the meet. Please keep up with our emails and other communications. If you have a question, we have probably answered it in an email! We use Sign-Up Genius for volunteers as well as meet participation. If your child will NOT swim in a meet, please let us know through Sign-Up Genius. Our coaches are busy at practice and may not remember. It is better to have all participation documented in one place.

Each swimmer is allowed to swim in up to 5 events at a meet, no more. They can swim 3 individual events and 2 relays. The computer takes the fastest seed times and creates the relays. Your child may be in the B relay at one meet and not in a relay at the next meet. It all depends on who is swimming and what their times are. Your child may swim up for a relay, but they cannot swim down.

The CSC Swim Team works hard to provide fun and quality instruction. We do not make money on our swim team. All registration fees and CSC member dues must be current before your child can participate in practice. If you would rather pay in person, please come to the Suit Fitting on April 18 from 10:00am-12:00pm. We are able to take cash and checks at that time.
